Have you ever had to use any odd items (limb,hands,gunstock,etc.) as a push pole, or oars to get back to the boat ramp?

Nah, cant say that i have but ive had some mishaps. I forgot to put the plug in one time on my old 12 ft jon boat and ended up with 2 or 3 inches of water in it. The good thing is you can run wide open and pull the plug out and the water will drain out. Another mishap i had when i had my boat was i was loading her up on the trailer to leave and when i went to pull her out of the water she fell in side ways and started flooding out. I played hell trying to get the boat back up. When i first got that old boat i took it out for a spin on lake weir and got pulled over. I didnt have a whistle, registration on board or life jackets. The sheriff was kind enough to let me borrow a life jacket and sent me on my way without any tickets.
