I contacted comp-n-choke company and they advised me on the mossberg 835 and 935 when using 4 or 5 shot in 3 1/2" shell i should use the xx full choke tube. If you use the xxx full tube the shot get deformed and the pattern is not as good.

I'm using a Maverick88 12g, made by Mossberg. Not as good of quality as the Mossberg brand, but I put about two hours into cleaning up the action and trigger and it is not a bad shotgun for the money.
I have a XX Turkey Full Choke tube on mine. I'm still working on the patterning, but so far it is tight. Tighter than I thought it would be. I'm using Winchester 3" #4, 1-3/4oz and 3" #4 1-7/8oz. so far.

I have a comp-n-choke in both my Mossberg and my Benelli, XXX-full.
I shoot Winchester Supreme 3 inch #6 shot. It patterns great at 50 yards, and I dont hesitate to shoot a turkey at 60 yards.

douglas34474, I also have one of the Mavrick88s, but the trigger pull is so hard I can't use it. What did you do to it so you could use it on Turkeys? I can't even shoot it at the range. I need to lighten up the pull could you get me some infro on how you got yours to shoot. I didn't think there was any way to ajust the trigger. Thanks for your time on this matter.
