Jumper Creek 13 point Buck

A friend at my work showed me some photos of a 13 point buck he mowed down about 8-9 years ago in Jumper Creek during gun season...Very tall rack and a reverse out-da-back kicker tine.

The swamp ghosts live out there, you just gotta find'em.

Theres some big bucks on the otter slough side. The airboaters slayed the deer on the rest of the wma. Numbers are down big time ;)

That buck was shot on the Otter Slough side....I think they are some good bucks in there...its so dense, they can slip thru that chit like ghosts and you would never see them @ 40 yards due to the jungle like terrain.

If all works out okay, I might actually get to expierence JC on the opening day of archery season...Hog Commander is coming to town boys!!

Whats the water status out at JC? Seems like we been getting a shipload of rain in the past few weeks.

Just enough water to make tons of mosquito's, but not enough to get out the Ark and load up the animals like Spring.

The last time i was down there was with you Tim. I hope that stand i got isnt still flooded. Ill be making a trip that way next weekend to set up my game camera to see whats moving around. I got a couple spots picked out in my mind already but i gotta check em' out and see whats cracking. I think i may even dump some of that stuff out i made in front of the camera to see what happens. I cant believe archery is almost here!
