Got my first bird Friday morning about 7:15 at 50 yards. 23.6 lbs,9.5 in beard and spurs 1.25in. I'll be back at it this weekend.

#2 down now, was the hardest most hened up year I've ever seen in my life.
A lot of very good hunters got skunked this year, I know of several pro-staffers that got skunked this year. We just didn't have the dumb two year olds this year. Bad hatch two yers ago.

It was the toughest year I can remember in 23 seasons of turkey hunting, I'm proud of my eastern and my osecola....I've heard that all over the country this year....

So far the hunting in New York has been pretty decent. Last year was far worse.
