Ok guys I know this place is slow with nothing being is season but what ideas do you guys have as far as a new product idea??? Lets hear them!!

I have a new predator distress call that I will be trying to put together soon. I am hoping to have something to show Bob Wozniak come RMEF time in February.

What do you have in mind Scott?

They keep going in and out on it. I have called and emailed them, but it is the CRAZY time of year in the call business, so it may take a friendly request email to Bob from the consumer....;)

I was doing some thinking on pot and peg calls today. I was looking on the internet on how people make them. I went to lay down and then i had an idea and got back on here before i forgot about it.

Im not sure if this is a good idea or not or if its already been done or if it would make the call non usuable, but here is what i was thinking.

What if you were to add another piece to the bottom of the pot that had the same size sound holes and lined up with the pre existing holes. This piece you would be able to turn making the holes bigger or smaller. I wonder how it would affect the sound. I think you would be able to control the volume and possibly the pitch this way.

I was thinking on this idea some more. I don't think theres enough room inside the sound chamber, but what if you could add a push pin call to the inside of the pot. You would be able to use the striker with one hand and have a push pin pot call in the other for two turkeys at one time! I wish I had a wood working shop to test some of these ideas out. I know I could hit gold eventually.

Lohmans made a call with an attatched push-pin in the chamber. I don't know if they still make it or not..
