Do you guys use keep a journal of your hunts? If so what are the key points to have in it? What info to you find useful?

I like to keep tabs on the weather conditions:temp, wind, rain, etc. It helps me remember what kind of activity happened in a certain spot for future refference. I don't know if this counts, but I have a little binder filled with blank white paper that I draw little diagrams of possible set up spots. In deer season, if I happen on to a killer spring turkey spot, I note roosts, fallen logs, shooting lanes, and such. I draw arrows showing which way the birds traveled and little things like that.Unless a hurricane comes through,I can go back to that spot minimal times before the season and spend more time prospecting. It works in reverse during turkey season. I have a small kill/miss book that I keep hunt info in. It contains temp, animals seen, shots taken, gear used. Do you keep a journal?

I am going to start using a journal. I have had many occasions when I wish I would have kept one.

All the time...I use the Rite In The Rain journals....one for upland, and another one for turkey.
