I am an old AllOutdoors.com and Shooters.com alum that finally found a home at 24HourCampfire.com, run by Rick Bin. That's were I've been since Shooters' shut down in 2002. I asked Rick to start a deer hunting section, and he obliged.

Besides that, I'm also a regular at KentuckyHunting.net run by Wing Supply and Shootertalk.com run by TLee. Beyond that, I visit probably 20 other forums.

realtree.com has a good forum, it's about my favorite right now...

I like this one, but it doesn't move very fast... Maybe not enough people or something...

I've been on archerytalk a few years. It's a good one but it is biased and a lot of junk on there, you learn who's cool and who's full of bull...

Quakerboy has potential... just needs more input, maybe more members...

I'm honestly surprised at the lack of traffic.Last year from what I hear, this place was rockin'.I know that there is a wealth of knowledgable and interesting people in here,so now it's just a matter of finding more members and getting the momentum going with fresh and response provoking topics.

Let's try to find cool people on other boards and send them over here to help get things going.

Sounds good to me, and I never would have stopped in here if not for an invitation from Chad. Thanks, I like it here. There are some knowledgable people on here. And it is all about my favorite hunting, turkey hunting.

I imagine traffic will pickup as spring gets closer...

Things are relaxed in here and that is refreshing.I'm glad that it's not Royal Rumble in here like on some of the the other forums. Can anyone guess which one I'm talking about in particular?

I could think of a good half-dozen. Somebody is always taking it personal.

I've seen a few that started that way, and a more than a few that have fallen into that way. I ran one myself starting in the late 80's. It's part of the life cycle of these animals.

It helps that we're not discussing religion and politics on here. Since it's a vendor-specific forum, Quaker Boy can keep it that way if they want. I don't think Quaker Boy wants to promote or denigrate any particular controversial agendas.

If we just keep it focused on the game and the hunting, it can probably stay quiet.

. . . at least until somebody ventures an opinion over 30-06 versus 270 or whether crossbows should be used in Spring Gobbler season or . . .

I guess we should just be happy it's quiet for now.

If you want knock down drag out try bowsite.com lol. I have been only browsing the online hunting forums a month now so really don't have a favorite site. I like realtree they have a good crew over there and here as well. I know other non-hunting forums can get down right brutal. I think most of it people don't feel accountable to what they post. It would be a down right brawl if they knew each other in real life.

I don't know, people seem to have bigger "muscles" when they can hide on a computer. I bet in real life, half of these people are the quiet weakling that sits in the back of the gun shop,or sporting goods store and listens to other people, draws an opinion from what they hear, and then go online and try to preach it like they are an authority on the subject. If I am not sure of a topic,I say nothing. If I know something,I'll try to help others who ask.I just hate when people try to force their way on people who didn't even ask a question about what they are talking about. Take care

I found a great site started by a 15 yr. old. The site is www.huntersparadise.netforums.us I also am on DU,realtree,PSE, and quite a few others but like hunters paradise no fighting or one person knows all like one of the other sites I go to.
