You can print off a $5 rebate on the Hevishot website. They may have the rebate coupons in the stores. I printed off one today and I'm going to buy a box tomorrow. That'll help since they went up about $5 a box from last year.

Just thought some of you might wan to know....

I have never tried Hevi Shot, but I would like to give it a try on the patterning board.

Hevi-13 is my personal favorite. There is a low traffic store in my hometown that has a couple 10pk of 3in #6 12ga. That is my pet load. Thanks for the tip!

Chad,
which load do you shoot the 1 5/8 oz or the 1 3/4 oz load?

The 1 5/8 load has been an outstanding performer in every gun I put it through. The patterns I get out of my Benelli M1 at long range were very comforting to me when I was hunting sketchy distances.

The odd part about this load is the lack of recoil and velocity compared to the damage it does and knockdown power it has.It only flies at 1,095 fps!!! but takes birds to BEATDOWN CITY!

Mike, also if you have a Myspace hit me up! I like having my fellow Pro-Staffers on there so we can keep in touch.

Chad,
thanks I have shot both the hevi-13 and the winchester extended range in #6's. The extended range has patterned a little better for me, but the price seems to clime alot faster than the hevi-13 and i may decide to switch.

Value is the key with Hevi-13.It flies so slow, you can put down your gun after you pull the trigger, run out behind the turkey you shot at and catch the pellets that missed so you can reload them!LOL:D
