I am sure that their has been some pretty inovative stuff done to keep your favorite decoy in action ! What are some of the things you have had to do ? I have a Strutting Tommy that is about ten years old this decoy has been attacted by many Long beards a fox and a horse that i had to chase down and take out of his mouth not to mention the wear and tare from getting stuffed in my vest. Thank God for Duct tape, glue guns and flat black paint !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Duct Tape, hot glue, paint-- check, check and check.

Gorilla Glue and Gorilla Tape work good for me. That's what I used on the last hen deke that got torn up by an angry gob.

I take bits of soft foam packing and stuff them in the tails, heads and necks of my dekes so that they expand back out and look natural. After a few years of being wadded up and carried, both ends seem to want to stay collapsed. It doesn't take much, and you don't want to put too much in-- more foam equals more weight equals less movement in the wind.

Thats a good idea i never thought of that ! I normally grab a hand full of dead grass or sometimes a stick or 2.
