Hey Guys, I am new to the forum. Getting ready to retire after 20 years of service with the Coast Guard, including 4 years at Station Niagara where I got to know Big Ern.
So...as a retirement gig, I have partnered with Outdoors magazine here VT to found the VT Big Game Trophy Club. Sort of like a mini B&C. for the state. We don't have a lot of high scoring whitetails, but they are trophies to us over here. and there has been no record keeping organization since the state dropped theirs 5 years ago due to budget cuts.
We have categories for Deer Bear Moose and Turkey with B&C minimums, as well in the old New England tradition of using weight as the guage of a trophy. We have established the 200lb club for deer, 20 lb club for turkey, 800 for moose and 250 for bear. If someone gets any three of the four species in a year...Triple Crown, all four would get the Grand Slam. We are giving each lucky hunter a patch, certificate and decal for their entry.. Quaker Boy is also involved with us and has pledged their support.
We are pretty excited about it amd I wanted to let everyone know about it. Let me know what you think.
Brad

Can you register your game from years past or is it starting this year. If so, how do you go about registering?
