Just recieved an email from the Oklahoma dept of wildlife, they increased the archery limit from 2 tags, to 6.......... Holy cow, I need a bigger deep freeze.:D

Is that for archery only or are the tags combined with other seasons?

The way it reads now is, 1 buck 1 doe, for black powder, 1 buck 1 doe for modern firearms season, and 6 tags for archery, you are only allowed to kill 2 bucks for the year, period.

So, if you took a buck with black powder and a buck with rifle, you would still have 6 doe tags for archery, you could mix it up anyway you want it.

I am just glad that oklahoma is finally doing something about our out of control doe population.
