hey all, my white clover plot is doing great, the deer are in it thick.
Hopefully here in a few weeks weather permitting, i am going to put in some winter wheat, snow peas and some turnips.

did not go as planned, got everything brush hogged, but the ground is so hard I could not get the disk going deep enough, we are supposed to get some rain this week, so i will try again this weekend.
If all else fails I have a friend with a tiller attachement for a tractor, I can use anytime i want, so I might give that try this weekend.

Are there deer and turkeys here, or just deer?

I have only owned the property for 3 years, the first 2 years I never saw a turkey one, but have hunted them up the creek from my place, last deer season i had a small flock roosting and feeding on my property, had a long beard in my sights during black powder season, which is legal in ok. But I left them alone in the hopes they would be around come spring, have not seen them scince. So I guess I shood have taken him, but I have so much fun calling them in the spring.
I mainly manage the property for a place that my two sons and I can deer hunt. It is a heck of a lot of work, but I really enjoy it.

I have a couple of food plots in wet land its nice to see someone else get stuck once in a while ! Go for the rototiller it makes it alot easier instead of trying to pull mud filled disk the rototiller will help push you threw it .Keep up the hard work it Pays off ! Good Luck

Here are a couple more deer in the plot.
I have access to a rotor tiller that I usually use, but the guy that owns it has it torn apart for maintenece, I guess I just need to break down and buy one.
