What's the status?

What is everyone up to? I myself am getting geared up for an upcoming dove hunt with Scott. I just bought a Winchester 1300 in Advantage Classic and am ready to see what it can do. I hope to get out and shoot some clays at least once with it before opening day,two Saturdays from now!

Just waiting on next friday myself, archery opens oct 1st here, but I cant hunt till friday.

Lots of deer activity around my favorite stand, Im pumped!

Black Powder is only a month away, so were gonna go sling some lead this weekend.:D :D :D

Our bow season opened sept.15 been seeing alot of does some small bucks,property hasn`t been hunted in 5 yrs. Killed a nice 190# five point sat. evening old deer ugly rack but plenty of meat.P.S.E. and spitfires did the deal at 25 yds.Rubs and scrapes showing up daily rut usually gets crunk around thanksgiving.

When did they establish an actual bow season in SC? With gun season kicking off Aug 15th. muzzleloading and bow seasons were never implemented to my knowledge. Is this maybe on public land?

The upper part of the state or piedmont region has always had a traditional bow muzzleloader and gun season in that order archery comes in sept. 15 blackpowder oct. 1,and gun oct 11th.The lower part of the state from Columbia on down deer season in general comes in aug.15th.It is also legal to bait in the lower part but not up here,salt and minerals are legal but no golden decoys.
