I personaly like turkey hunting because the calling is alot more interactive than deer. And i don't do much duck hunting.

Deer hunting by far!!!!!!!!!!! A turkey is just a turkey to me, don't get me wrong I love hunting them but the ones I kill this year will look just like the ones I've killed in years past. There is nothing like going one on one with a big buck and at the end of the day wrapping your hands around 160 inches of horn. Just think of it this way, is it harder to kill a turkey or a 150 inch buck??

Where I hunt, probably that boss tom. I love deer hunting and all but turkey just provides that extra bit of interactivity. In my opinion, there's nothing quite like hearing that gobble after a nice bit of calling.

TURKEY'S Are my Favorite.
Why= The talking to them the calling factor. Theres nothing like a Gobbler Gobbling at 20 yards and the sound of the druming. The Gobble at dusk or the first Gobble of the morning. The sounds In the morning as the woods wake up. The excitement when that Big Gobbler is strutting in front of you and your just about to shoot then the high you feal after you take that trophy. The memories Gobbler Hunting has givin me and the frienships it has started.
DANG IS IT SPRING YET. NOW I GOT GOBBLIN FEVER

Very tough choice. Deer or turkey? Man, I can't pick just one. I love seeing a monster buck step out and I love matching wits with an ol long beard. I guess the collest part of both is getting them to come to your calling.

I like turkey better simply because I like to use all the different calls. It's also easier getting a turkey out of the woods. You can also hunt in teams which makes it fun for you & your buddies...plus....turkeys can't smell so you don't have to worry about wind & scent control so much.

I, can't decide wich I like better. I love them both. I like turkey hunting for hearing that big old gobbler gobblin out in the field. But i love deer hunting just as much becuase i get more satisfation out of shooting a deer.

I like killing big bucks and killing them turkeys with 13 inch beards. Why should I choose when I can do both.

I love hunting Deer & Turkey. I am just glad the rut is in the Fall. I would hate to have to make that choice.
I also love hunting Tree Rats, Rabbits, Dove and anything else that will get me out there.

I agree with all of you who voted for Turkey... And for the same reasons all of you listed...
I love the interaction with the bird. I love taking friends and being able to whisper while stalking. I love everything about it.
There aint nothing like it in the whole world.
I deer hunt too, but that's just to pass the time until Turkey Season comes back in.

Turkey....because of the stealth and calling skills required, and just being in the woods sitting against a tree enjoying all of nature's sounds.

I am glad i dont have to choose ! If i had to choose between spring or fall Turkey it would be easy for me "Spring Strutters" ! Fall turkey does not seem to make me shake as bad as a huge buck at 10 yards !

I would have to say chasing after a big 6 x 6 elk would be it for me. Although I have yet to to take my first tom, I am hoping I get a chance this spring. My son is one up on me in this category and he won't let me forget it. So both of us are getting primed for our first spring hunt. A couple of weeks away. Can't wait to find new ways to deflate my ego.
