thought id start this thread so we can talk about the night of and whos planning to hunt, reasons why and why not. tonight im going out . good visibility and i took a female yote last night. didnt need lights but wasnt too bright. did female invitation then chirps . killed her at 175yrds. on the frozen mohawk river canal lock. came down frozen water. nice travel route and no one thinks about calling it and there is no traffic this time of year of course. ...Dave...

going out tonight . the wind has calmed down here in central n.y. just had high winds blow through last 24 hours. gonna howl only a couple times a stand only, then wait the rest of stand with no dog talk. some stands ill just bark a few times then wait.
