It's a cool place to learn about stuff you never even thought about doing. Lobster trapping anyone? How about bowfishing 'gators.. lol
This site is actually from a cool monthly magazine, that has all kinds of cool stuff in it.

Sam,
Did you get a chance to read my article on page 61 of this months mag? It was about getting your turkey gun ready for the season..

Sorry Chad, forgot to come back and check the post. I just read your article, i must have missed it last month. Reminds me off all the stuff i still gotta do before turkey season. Also i learned how to pattern my gun! Dunno if ill be able to do it in time, but im gonna at least buy an xxfull choke and try to find the time to pattern. good article by the way. Im sure there are lots of people that dont pattern their turkey guns, lets hope i dont fall into that category!

Thanks!
Do your best to get out and shoot a few shots, if at all possible. I have an article out this month as well on camo selection. You don't really have to read it since you already wear DK Flatwoods!;) You'll be covered!

There is a good post in the Woods n Water forum about choke tube choices that won't break the bank, that was spawned off my article. It is by "downwithit" in the Hunting thread. I gave some input in there, so check it out if you haven't decided what to get.

You must be reading my mind! Im checking out chokes now. they are running about 28 dollars, 39 dollars for a ported one. I was just researching what the difference was in the ported ones. Seems they supposively reduce muzzle flip and felt recoil. Ill check out that thread.

An Undertaker, TruGLO Gobblestopper or a Primos Tight wad will be the best investment you could make to start with, and can each be had for less than $25 at BPS.
I have shot a TON of guns and even more shells, and these tubes always end up near the top of the pile.

Chad, im looking at the chokes on bass pro website. Im not sure if they will fit my mossberg 535 though.

It takes Accu-Chokes. The same as Win-Chokes and Browning Invectors. Any tube for the Mossberg model 500 will fit your gun.
I post this so anyone else who may have the same question can find it in a search.

thanx, ive been looking for the last hour on this. Some sites will have the 535 listed with the 500 and some sites just have the 500 listed. Was starting to wonder what was going on.
