Mounts

Anyone getting any mounts back yet? Lets see some pics!
I had one mounted this year, but have not got it back yet, should be real soon though, I hope.

I havent shot anything to get mounted, but i watched some youtube videos on how to do a shoulder mount on a deer. I think i might try it out. Doesnt look to hard, but does look time consuming.

scored him myself at the Boone and Crockett website, 164 7/8 gross and netted 152'ish. I'll get him done officially soonly thereafter my turkey obsession is fixed. I'm getting so cranked at these birds that I could just shoot em!;)
The taxidermist as well as a DEC official aged him (the buck) on separate occasions at 5 1/2 years old. The DEC guy added that he's likely one of the top 10 in NYS last season.:D

Put down a young 6 on the opener of our first gun hunt and missed a big 8 with the bow, still have untill the end of the month to fill my 2'nd tag for archery.

That is a definate Wall Hanger buck for the area I'm in!:)
