My Bear Truth is do for some new strings this summer. Went to the Bear Archery Factory Pro Shop a few weeks ago, because the cam module seemed to be eating the serving on the cable. They inspected the bow and replaced the limbs. They admited that the serving on their factory strings is cheap and the extreme roll over of the cam module will cause this issue. I did some research and found out that fellow Truth owners had the same problem and they installed custom strings w/ halo serving and this issue disappeared.

Can anyone recommend any good string makers that they have had experience with? I want to jump on this soon before the pre-season summer archery frenzy starts. Thanks.

Thanks Paul....I am open to suggestions. Been to archerytalk.com already and dont have the time to sift thru the million posts a hour. Is this that "Reylamb" guy on the GON Forum? What is he getting for the string and cable set? Tim

I had no idea there were so many custom string builders out there. WOW. I have heard of Neely, Winners choice, and one other that I can not even remember the name of. I have never had any problems with Winners Choice. I have had them on both of my bows.
