I am really stoked to be shooting this Hoyt bow. Paul, I will have to go on the record as saying you were right! Yesterday was a day of rest swapping, trying to find the set-up, which extended into today, but I got it right with a Trophy Taker Pronghorn Drop-Away. These two 25yd groups came from the first two that I shot with it on after getting my pins set. The Centershot was dead on from the package! I just have to fine tune it a bit, and get more comfortable with the new set-up, and it will be Golden like Ponyboy! I love the process of getting to know your new shootin' stick

Here is a look at some of the effort taken to fight off the bugs during a Florida practice session!

Looks like your ready for the BPS Classic. Nice group @ 25 yards. Did not know JC had a archery range. LOL

That Hoyt looks like a sweet rig

Thanks man. There's still lots of work to do to be ready. There are actually two shoots that weekend, one at Bass Pro, and the other at some crazy archery festival in Barberville. The Barberville shoot is going to have running deer and an Iron Buck.

I needed a rig that was down for The Grind, and now I have it! Now the fletching jig is gonna get a workout:D

I'm not to the final stage of tuning yet. I wanted to shoot around 200 arrows through the bow to get used to it, and work in the cams, string, rest, etc., and then once everything is tight and right, finish up, and get down to the real Practice Programme(how the English spell it:p)

I ended up being 1/8 left of center on my C/C, according to my tool that I use. Remember the Game-Tracker tool that attatched to the tiller bolts, and had the rubber tubes going down the front? Oldschool:D

I'll check out both the links, thanks for the info!

That bow is a shooter and you really have not "fine tuned" it yet.

I saw that weekly tourney @ GON, looks fun. Waiting on my new string from Reylamb and some other goodies to get back to shooting within a few weeks, then I will try that GON tourney for sure.

Dead center is my next stop. I had to work today, so I'll be back at it tomorrow. I have a couple of changes I want to try, but it is a time consuming process. I'm heading out now to work on the prongs of the rest right now. I want to polish them and smooth them up some. I will have to remove the rest for this, and when I put it back on, I will set it at Zero.
