Last time i shot an aluminum arrow it hit a tree and disintegrated. I had three of them from when i bought my first used bow off ebay. I like carbon arrows much better, but im sure they wouldnt hold up much better against a tree.

I got a g5 montec broadhead along with the bow too. Does anyone have a review of the g5 montec's? I've read you got to tune them. I brought it hunting with me last year as a spare and i hit an armadillo at 30 yrds. He took off on me though. Also ive shot it a couple times target practicing and they flew like my field tips at 20 to 35 yrds. Im thinking about buying some for my broadhead of choice this year.

They look like pretty solid tips, but I have never used them. Muzzy and Thunderheads are the only BH that make it to my arrows:)
