I stumbled onto this post on another site after my buddy measured the tiller on his bow and realized they werent set the same. I thought it was an interesting read and might give it a try. From what it says, its not always best to set the tillers the same. Its kinda hard to explain so you will have to go to the site and read it for yourself.

It does state in the article that your nocking points kisser button and peep will need to be adjusted.
I see what your saying about about about moving your string loop and nocking points each adjustment in order to see if it is really helping. I don't think that point was brought up in that post, or maybe it wouldn't make that much of a difference on pulliing force as it would with the tune. It seems that it would to me.

later on in the post he stated that he had a bow tuned at a bow shop and in order for it to shoot bullet holes it was nocked like an inch high (not sure on that exact measure) After he did his "dynamic tiller tune" he got it to a 90 degree.

I am going to fiddle with my bow later on after I get home from work and try out this dynamic tiller tuning method. According to the article when the tillers are tuned to your grip, shooting style, the limbs will be working together eliminating bow rocking from different pulling forces. Which in turn reduces recoil, and noise among other things. Which in turn again will better increase accuracy, arrow flight, and arrow speed. All according to the article.
In theory this sounds like it would work. Im not sure if my bow understands theory.

As it is right now my nock set and rest are at a 90 degree from the string give or take 1/8 of an inch with the tillers set at equal. If I tighten my lower limb or decrease the top im not sure if I would loose the 90 to get bullet holes or not. My guess would be yes.

Also, with the bottom limb being tighter wouldnt the lower part of the string come to rest before the top portion causeing erratic arrow flight? Or does this even matter as long as your nocks are set in the center of the string?

The science behind these things is crazy!

Yeah, I would just set tillers equal. I messed with it this morning for a bit. What a bunch of B.S.... Had to get everything set back to the way it was. Got my pins set at 20 30 and 40. Still got some practicing and fine tuning to do, but i would take it to the woods as it is.

Thanx for the link Paul. I took that metal D loop off and tied a string loop under my arrow nock and set a nock on the top. I read in there that some people think it helps to steady their aim. I think it does help. I havent shot at a target with it yet as i am still paper tuning because i changed the nock and lowered my rest so the shaft is in line with the rest bolt hole. Im trying different configurations out so i can get the best results. Im still new to this stuff so i am learning as i go.
