Bear Archery Gainesville, Fl. 9-4-09

Made the trip up to the Bear Archery Factory Pro Shop in Gainesville, Fl. this morning. Got my new string put on and snapped some photos before the batteries went dead. Went to the "proving grounds", which is their archery range and loosed some arrows before the thunder storm rolled. The new string by reylamb is 100% quality. Almost forgot what its like to have a new string; the bow is super butter smooth again and I think there is little less noise. Might try a lower string suppressor later this year. They stated they are dumping their entire line of bows and will a entirely new lineup for 2010--which should be on their www site in early October. They had some mad deals on "blemish" bows that included some truth II, done deals, ect...Stopped at Gander Mountain and no Buck Brawlers to be seen anywhere in sight????

Tim, did they have any deals on the Truth 2 Young Gun? I'm thinking about getting one for my wife as a second bow, but the price at Dick's is pretty high

No Truth II Young Guns on sale...They probably will be after 10-1-09, when Bear releases their new entire line-up on their www site (No mo Truth bows since Primos/Bear split ways)...Pro-shop guy stated that he will be getting a new press in the pro-shop for the new 2010 line....

Thanks Chad...I saw them a couple of weeks ago..hopefully they will drop the price down since Bear will have all new apparel soon that goes along w/ the release of their new 2010 bow line-up.
