Going out tonight (Even though its raining) to remove the Bear Bait Barrel because I have to get it out by October 10th due to State Laws because I can no longer Hunt Bear over Bait, but while I am down there I am going to empty out the 60 pounds of rotten meat that is in my Dads freezer to clean it out for the fall/winter hunts. I am going to spread the contents of the Bear Bait from the barrel all around as well and dump a 5 gallon bucket of Bacon Grease that I got from a local store (That happens to have the Best Bacon in about a 100 mile radius) over the rotten meat and old Bear Bait.
As long as Maine gets a break from the rain Saturday will be a great Coyote hunt. They have been frequenting the site for almost 2 months feeding on the meat I have been leaving for the Bear and the next 3 days will allow for plenty of time for them to get comfy with the new shipment of goodies for them.
I don't know how many of you actually watched my video that I posted of shooting that coyote at a range within 40 yards on one of the other threads so I don't know if your even interested in me posting any more videos, but I will be posting pics if the hunt goes well. Feedback would be much appreciated!
