After archery season is over, are you going to continue to shoot your bow over the year?

I like to shoot all year round weather permitting. When spring turkey nears I really step it up with the 3D Turkey targets.

Bigshow....what 3-D turkey targets are the best bang for the buck? I will be purchasing one after the new year and was checking out that Rinehart turkey target. Any advice or experience would be great. Thanks

I like the McKenzie Gobbling Tom. This is a cool target, and is fun to shoot. The RH targets are tough as nails, and last forever! The Bass Pro turkey is cheap, but the arrows need three people to help in order to get them out.

Sorry to hijack, I just shot quite a few this last year..

I would go with the Rinehart. I stick with McK's myself, b/c that is what they use in most of the shoots around here, so it's less about real hunting practice, and more about scoring ring placement for me.

Check out the targets here. There are some good choices!

I would have to say the Rineheart is definitely the longest lasting. Not even sure which brand mine is, but he needs a new head. :D

Not bad for a 50 yard group...I been messing around with the FOBS over the weekend, but after archery season is over, I kinda phase out of shooting the bow. I always say I'm going use the bow during turkey season, but I never do.

:D Super tight groups on a Dick's Sporting Goods Tough Bag at 10yds leads to the dresser behind the target getting new peep holes for my duck decoys to plot an escape! I learned that the hard way:p

I like to fling some arrows in there just to work on form, and get some mileage on my string. The turk target was working this week to get some new turkey gun sights set up.

I hear ya Sam....It seems to be seasonal to me...I'm gonna try to keep shooting at least 1-2 times per week all year, but I'm sure that wont happen because once March rolls in I start dreaming of the Mossberg 835 and stomping red heads.

I missed a nice buck Thanksgiving day morning....:(

Arrow hit a limb and deflected into a tree.

There was a big 10 pt killed during the first week....but I'm sure there are more than one out there.:D
