I am in Southeast Kansas, around Erie/St. Paul KS. I have great turkey hunting, and deer, and some great fishing. Please feel free to contact me about hunting down here. I also live about five miles from the Neosho County wildlife area, great waterfowl hunting. I am disabled and have a lawyer putting the last touches on a non-profit to help other physically disabled hunters, anglers, and do education for both disabled and non-disabled. Please feel free to get ahold of me at

Hello everyone,
My name is Dan and i live in otsego county in NY. I have been hunting turkeys since the early 80's.I Also like to trap, ice fish, coon hunt with dogs anything that keeps me outdoors.
Myt advise to Kevin it may be hard to do but remain patient and try to sit tight when a bird answers your call. Remember that you are trying to reverse nature and that the gobbler has nothing but time!

Scot from West Valley, NY nice to meet you all. Been hunting since I was legally old enough. I took a few years off but gonna get back in the tradition. Im a bowhunter and turkey hunter/deerhunter. I learned to turkey call through the cassette tapes quaker boy used to offer.

Welcome!
Old school cassete's,eh?Now that's the way to learn! Some of the "newer" videos and shows leave a lot to be desired when it comes to instruction.

I heard that! Man the NY season can't get here soon enough (3 weeks out)and it's to the point where i'm having trouble falling asleep now. I'm serious...been turkey hunting for 22 years now and each year feels like my first season. Can't say that about deer season though. The ole ticker dont pound when I get a deer in front of me but when I get an ole boy out there 30yds hollering his fool head off I shake like a leaf, breathe like I just ran a marathon and my heart pounds thru my camo boys!
I will be turkey hunting here in MA here at the end of the month but boy its hard finding turkeys here on Cape Cod. They are here and you see them driving around but the woods are so thick with very short white oak and cedar and not having alot of open fields is making it real tough locating them. I'll keep doing the ole homework though and i'll be out listening in a few spots this next week before flydown.
