Mitch Swensen

Like so many of us, Mitch Swenson’s hunting story started as a young boy following his father, grandfather, and other elders around the woods.  At age six he completed the Kansas Hunter Safety Program, and started carrying his gun into the field after pheasants.  At the age of 12, Mitch could legally hunt turkey and deer in Kansas, and this is where his obsession with trying new techniques and mastering new calls began.  He even started making his own mouth calls and selling them to other hunters in the area. Since those early days Mitch has been fortunate enough to hunt turkey and other big game in numerous states, and has harvested some really nice trophies.  One of those trophies is a 200” whitetail which he harvested at the age of 19.  Mitch and his wife are excited about passing on the outdoor tradition to their two young children.
