Mike Manning grew up in the shadows of the Mississippi River bluffs in northeastern Iowa.  In Mike's words this is, “Only a dream a few can enjoy.”  It is here in Allamakee County that Mike resides with his wife Tammy and three kids: Matt, Makayla and Marcy.  Over the years Mike has been blessed with the privilege to pursue the most amazing whitetails in the United States, and most of them are right out his back door.  Mike has taken a good number of quality bucks with both shotgun and archery equipment.  The area is also home to a vast population of Eastern Turkeys, which his family terrorizes every spring. 

Twenty years ago Mike crossed paths with Mr. Chris Kirby at a deer classic and was honored when Chris invited him to be part of the team.  Mike says, “Quaker Boy Game Calls and its employees and staff are family.  It is a family business, family oriented and definitely family fun.  The guys are quality woodsmen and defiantly quality personalities….oh and they are all BORN TO HUNT!
